These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DailyTails mobile application (the “App”), operated by DailyTails Inc. (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: reverse-engineering or attempting to extract source code except as permitted by law; interfering with the App’s operation or security; or using the App to violate any law or the rights of others.

3. Your content

You are responsible for the information you enter into the App (such as pet details and notes). This data is stored on your device; see our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

The App may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. Payment, billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store in accordance with Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your App Store account settings before the renewal date.

5. Not medical or veterinary advice

The App is for general informational and tracking purposes only and does not provide veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your pet’s health.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the App, and may update these Terms, at any time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we change these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
